Vintage test Equipment
Over the years I have had an interest (some might call it an obsession) in obtaining quality 2nd hand test equipment. This is likely the result of my engineering background and also due to good genes passed down from both of my grandfathers. My home lab is pretty well equipped for RF and analog work. During my search for this gear I have also had the occasion to purchase some vintage test gear. These instruments take on a “classic” non-plastic look that appeals to me like my classic 1966 Mustang. I can just envision the Engineers of the day in their suits, ties and vests working with this equipment designing the next leap of technology. Some of these instruments may have even been used by George Westinghouse, the founder of Union Switch & Signal, where I obtained many of the Weston Model 1 meters! Enjoy!
